Charles & Becky Keith
Church Pastors & Worship Leader

Chloe Olliver
Administration

Charles & Becky joined the Grace Community Family in October 2019 as the Senior Pastors. Before this, they served a church in Basildon on the Church Leadership team and youth pastors. They met back in 2008 and right near the beginning of their relationship they felt called into church leadership. Charles & Becky believe in the power of the local church, they believe Church is the hope of the world, and that these are exciting times!

Charles and Becky are the proud parents of Judah, Kadisha, and Taliah, three little human beings full of energy and life!  Charles is a keen gardener, Becky loves to bake, and the kids like to be heard!

As a family, they give their all to the Church and would love to see you all there.

Chloe joined Grace Community Church back in 2016 with her partner Tom and is our new administrator.
She works with a Christian charity called 'The Family Trust' as a school worker, which basically means she travels around different schools in Medway & Maidstone and teaches children about the bible and about the love of Jesus.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking (and eating!), cross-stitching, and spending time with her son Elijah and husband Tom.

Harriet
Harriet Mecoy
Youth Ministry

Harriet has been a member of Grace Community Church since her early teenage years and joined the youth from the beginning. She then transitioned into becoming a youth leader in her early twenties.
In her day-to-day job, she works as an Occupational Therapist. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Harriet has a passion for exercising but also eating lots of yummy food! A fun fact about her is that she fell over when she was around 4 and now has a scar on her forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt. So she is secretly Harry Potter, but don't tell anyone!

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

Hello and Welcome to Grace Community Church. We are very excited you have decided to join us, whether it be a passing visit or a frequent visitor. We welcome you all with open arms. Here is all the information you will need when you visit us on Sunday. There is something for all ages so please continue down this page to find out what is best for you.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 10:30 am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. Parking is available outside the church on Grove Street. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who is located near the entrance.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access at the front of the building and comfy seating is available within the church.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10:30 am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our worship band. We typically have 2 or 3 songs lasting approximately 20 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God.
We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible-based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song or with a word of encouragement. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

What about my kids?

We believe that children and teenagers are vital to the life of the Church.  Due to our current building project, we are restricted to just our main hall, therefore we have a kids' table set up at the back of the church for all Primary school-aged children.  During the preaching, the children are invited to join us at the table, where we look at Bible stories and have different activities for them to join in with.  There is also room for younger kids to play and move about.  Once the building project is finished we will have a dedicated Sunday school area.  Please bare with us whilst space is limited, this is only a season!

We believe in the power of all generation worship, we all have something to give and learn from each other no matter our age.  With this in mind, we encourage all generations to take part in worship together.

Getting Connected

Stronger
We are part of the AOG UK denomination who has the strapline 'Stronger Together.'  This is a statement we stand upon.  Therefore we have a fortnightly Midweek meeting called, 'Stronger', 8pm on a Thursday evening.  We currently meet in the Church hall AND via zoom, enabling those that struggle to come out in the evenings for whatever reason to still be able to connect together with God and with each other.

For more information, please visit our Contact Us page for any enquiries.
