Everyone wants to connect; to have a sense of belonging, and of being loved, valued and accepted. As Christians we believe that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can truly find that kind of connection. The cross is that point of connection. It is the central reminder that its through the death and resurrection of Jesus that we discover faith, hope and love. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price so we could know life in all its fulness - a life of purpose, destiny and eternal hope.

The cross also teaches us of God’s grace in our lives, a reminder that we have received so much more than we could ever deserve. We were separated from God, but grace tells us that when Jesus died on the cross a line was drawn in the sand and all that stood between us and a relationship with Him could be forgiven. It is our desire to be a people of grace as we connect with God in worship, connect with each other in community and connect with our world in mission.
We are not perfect. Our faith is worked out in the real world, with all of its experiences. But a relationship with Jesus brings peace, joy and strength.
